FAYETTEVILLE — When Ryan Silverfield took over the Arkansas football program nearly a year ago, he made a promise that was music to fans’ ears.
Under his direction, he told reporters and fans alike, the Razorbacks would clean up the turnover issues that had plagued them in so many close losses in recent years.
Having finished 31st or better nationally in turnover margin his last four years at Memphis, highlighted by a No. 2 ranking in 2024, Silverfield seemed to have the resume to back up such a claim.
Alas, through eight games, Arkansas is -2 in that department and tied for 90th in the FBS.
