Ryan Silverfield isn’t exactly easing into his new job as Arkansas football coach.
In his first address to a Razorback team that finished the season on a 10-game losing streak, the 45-year-old paced up and down in front of his new players with a briskness unlike that of his predecessor, Sam Pittman.
When the players didn’t yell “all in” loud enough, he made them yell it again, louder.
From the get go, the new Razorback football coach wanted them to understand they needed to meet his expectations. In the short term, that means one and one talks and syncing up on goals and fitting into Silverfield’s new scheme.
