This weekend’s Fayetteville Super Regional between No. 3 Arkansas and No. 14 Tennessee is by far the most anticipated matchup on the college baseball slate.
After a chaotic weekend in the regionals, it will be one of just three super regionals featuring two national seeds. The tension will also be at an all-time high not only because there’s a spot in Omaha on the line, but because of the loaded recent history between the Volunteers and the Razorbacks.
The defending national champion facing off against the tournament’s highest remaining seed, with Arkansas baseball coach Dave Van Horn facing off against his former assistant Tony Vitello.
