FAYETTEVILLE — Eli Drinkwitz has been known to throw jabs at Arkansas since taking over as Missouri’s head coach in 2020.
Between online trolling, using former Arkansas coach Sam Pittman’s signature “yes sir” during his press conference after winning in 2022, mispronouncing Taylen Green’s name last year, and, ultimately, dominating the border rivalry, the Alma native has been a thorn in the side of the Razorbacks.
And after his team’s 31-17 victory capped a dreadful season for Arkansas (2-10, 0-8 SEC) on Saturday, Drinkwitz rode off the field on the Battle Line Rivalry trophy.
