Sam Pittman talks receiver shakeup after Arkansas football's Week 1 depth chart released

FAYETTEVILLE — When the Arkansas football team released its first depth chart of the 2025 season Monday, it gave a glimpse into how the wide receiver room has shaken out.

Charlotte transfer O’Mega Blake is a starting wideout as expected, but there were a few surprises on the depth chart.

Sophomore CJ Brown was listed as the starting slot receiver, and Florida State transfer Jalen Brown earned the nod as the flanker.

Fresno State transfer Raylen Sharpe, whom many have considered a candidate to lead the team in receptions, was listed behind CJ Brown in the slot as an “or” with Alabama-Birmingham transfer Kam Shanks.
