FAYETTEVILLE — Ryan Silverfield has vowed the Arkansas Razorbacks will “win a ton of games” and he said thinks the team can start winning relatively quickly under his watch as head football coach.
That would come as welcome news this holiday season for long-suffering Arkansas football fans.
But it's also bold talk for the 45-year-old Silverfield, who has been a college head coach for all of six years and is entering his first major college head coaching role. Silverfield has seven years in the NFL on his resume, but his Power 4 coaching experience consists of one year as an offensive assistant at Arizona State for Todd Graham and Mike Norvell in 2015.
