FAYETTEVILLE — New Arkansas football coach Ryan Silverfield will reportedly add two offensive line coaches to his staff.
Citing sources, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reported Monday that Silverfield will hire Marcus Johnson and Jeff Myers to coach the Razorbacks’ offensive linemen. Johnson is an assistant offensive line coach at Ohio State and Myers is the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at Memphis.
Johnson, 44, played for the Minnesota Vikings during a time when Silverfield was an assistant offensive line coach for the team. Johnson, a former player at Ole Miss, is in his 15th season as a college coach and previously served as offensive line coach at Duke (2016-17), Mississippi State (2018-19), Missouri (2020-22) and Purdue (2023-24).
