FAYETTEVILLE — Former Arkansas defensive coordinator Travis Williams has reportedly found a new job. He will join coach Mike Elko's staff at Texas A&M, according to a report from ESPN's Pete Thamel on Tuesday morning.
Williams' exact title is unclear, but he is expected to coach linebackers and potentially take on other duties, per Thamel.
Williams spent three seasons as defensive coordinator at Arkansas under coach Sam Pittman, and he also coached the Razorbacks' linebackers. One day after Pittman was fired on Sept. 28, interim coach Bobby Petrino dismissed Williams, co-defensive coordinator Marcus Woodson and defensive line coach Deke Adams.
