FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football is targeting Marion Hobby to be its defensive line coach, according to a report by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports on Saturday night.
Hobby was the assistant defensive line coach at Tennessee this year, and prior to that spent eight seasons coaching in the NFL. He was a defensive line coach for the Cincinnati Bengals (2021-24), Miami Dolphins (2019-20) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2017-18). Hobby also coached New Orleans Saints defensive linemen from 2006-07.
He began his career as a strength and conditioning coach at Tennessee-Martin in 1995, and held the same role while also coaching defensive tackles at Louisiana-Lafayette from 1996-97.
