FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas men's basketball guard Johnell Davis will play for the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League, per a report from Draft Express, as he tries to earn a full NBA contract.
Davis, who joined the Razorbacks after four years with Florida Atlantic, averaged 12 points and 3.4 rebounds this season.
The Magic finished the NBA regular season 41-41, good for seventh place in the Eastern Conference. Orlando lost 4-1 to the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. Former Razorback Anthony Black is currently with the Magic.
Davis, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, and big man Jonas Aidoo both exhausted their eligibility this season.
