Arkansas third baseman Cayden Wallace (7) throws toward first base during the second inning of an NCAA Tournament game against Oklahoma State on Monday, June 6, 2022, in Stillwater, Okla.

STILLWATER, Okla. — Arkansas fielders made spectacular defensive plays throughout Monday’s 7-3 victory over Oklahoma State in the championship game of the NCAA Stillwater Regional.

Maybe the most important came in the second inning after Arkansas starter Zack Morris walked the bases loaded. With two outs and third baseman Cayden Wallace playing back on the dirt, Oklahoma State catcher Chase Adkison hit a roller toward the left side of the infield.
