FAYETTEVILLE -- SEC supervisor of officials Steve Shaw said this week that Arkansas' lateral play on fourth and 25 at Ole Miss was not only properly officiated, it will make a significant teaching tool for clinics.
"Our guys train for the normal, average, routine play, but also for these type plays," Shaw said. "I thought our guys handled it very well."

Shaw said officials have to hang with a play -- not blow any hasty whistles or get out of position -- no matter where it's going as long as the ball is live.
