FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will play a women’s basketball exhibition game against Arkansas-Fort Smith on Nov. 5.
The exhibition game will be played at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville at a time to be determined. The memorandum of understanding for the matchup was discovered through a Freedom of Information Act request.
The Razorbacks have never played UAFS in a game or exhibition game. The Lady Lions compete in the NCAA’s Division II and were a junior college program until 2009.
Then known as Westark College, the Lady Lions were the NJCAA Division I national champion in 1995, one year after a national runner-up finish.
