FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas announced Saturday it has named five players team captains for the 2021 season.
Linebacker Grant Morgan and safeties Jalen Catalon and Joe Foucha, three of the Razorbacks’ top defensive pieces, and quarterback KJ Jefferson and offensive lineman Myron Cunningham received the honor following a team vote.
Morgan, a Greenwood native and former walk-on, was a captain in Sam Pittman’s first year with the Razorbacks. He finished last season with 111 tackles in nine games and earned All-SEC and All-America recognition.
Cunningham, one of two Arkansas offensive linemen to start all 10 games in 2020, was voted a captain ahead of the team’s final two games against Missouri and Alabama.
