Razorbacks advance in national soccer rankings

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas moved up one place in the national rankings follow its ninth consecutive victory.

The Razorbacks (9-2, 4-0 SEC) are ranked No. 7 in this week’s United Soccer Coaches Poll, which is their highest ranking of the season.

Arkansas is coming off of a 4-1 road win at Georgia. The Razorbacks have outscored their SEC opponents by a combined 12-3 this season and have outscored their opponents 34-4 during the nine-game winning streak.

Arkansas midfielder Taylor Malham was named SEC defensive player of the week for her two-goal performance at Georgia. Malham scored 58 seconds into the game and added a goal just after halftime.
