If the flaming pitchforks weren’t already out after a deflating loss to Memphis last week, Arkansas fans are certainly toting them in full force now after yet another blowout loss at home.
The 56-13 beatdown by No. 22 Notre Dame was the Razorbacks’ fourth home loss by 32 points or more in the last three seasons. Arkansas is now a dismal 2-8 in front of the 10 largest home crowds in program history, and the Hogs are 1-10 against the spread in home games since 2023.
The only positive from today was that Arkansas didn’t have to endure a 20th one-possession loss under head coach Sam Pittman; the Razorback defense made sure of that by surrendering 641 total yards.
