FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas fans experienced a rare luxury this weekend.
An 8-3 win over Creighton on Sunday capped a relatively easy Fayetteville Regional for the No. 3 overall seed Razorbacks and clinched their spot in the super regionals for the first time in three years.
After back-to-back years of heartbreak, Arkansas (46-13) was never truly threatened as it won its three games by a combined score of 26-6 and didn’t even have to use all of its premier bullpen arms. For the most part, the Razorbacks played stress-free baseball.
That’s no small feat considering what’s happened across the country over the first three days of the NCAA Tournament.
