Rain Delay May End Up Haunting Hogs as They Prepare for Do-or-Die Tilt with UCLA

Arkansas will officially square off with No. 15 UCLA in an elimination game in the College World Series tonight after No. 6 LSU outlasted the Bruins 9-5 in a game that stretched across two days.

After a 6 p.m. start on Monday night, the game entered a weather delay around 7:40 p.m. as storms rolled into Omaha. The two teams retreated to the locker room awaiting a restart that never came. Around 10:15 p.m., play was suspended until 10 a.m. this morning. LSU picked up right where it left off, tacking on two more runs in the fourth inning (the Tigers’ first time at-bat after the restart).
