Radio Host Who “Broke” Alex Golesh to Arkansas Tells All

The wait is finally over for Arkansas football – or is it?

The Razorbacks’ two-month coaching search is reaching its final stages, with one bombshell on Wednesday morning claiming it was done and dusted. Trey Schaap of 103.7 The Buzz reported that South Florida’s Alex Golesh had accepted an offer to become the next head coach at Arkansas. Schaap has covered the Razorbacks since 1996 and hosts The Buzz’s golf-centric show From the Short Grass.

Golesh had been a rumored candidate throughout the process, but more steam was building around names like North Texas’ Eric Morris and Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack, though the former took the Oklahoma State job Tuesday night.
