Ryne Stanek - Houston Astros
Stanek earned two holds in his last two appearances. A hold is an unofficial baseball stat, but the idea is to measure a reliever's effectiveness by keeping track of if a pitcher gives up the lead when coming in during a save situation.
Stanek was able to get the hold on back-to-back nights against Oakland in Houston. During the first game he came into the eighth inning with a three-run lead.
