FAYETTEVILLE — A clearer picture of the Arkansas football team’s projected starting unit was painted during sixth-year coach Sam Pittman’s news conference Thursday.

He said Miguel Mitchell and Larry Worth would begin preseason practices as the team’s two starting safeties. Pittman also mentioned that for redshirt junior E’Marion Harris a starting spot on the right side of the offensive line would be “his job to keep.”

Which positions will open fall camp with battles?

According to Pittman, the most intriguing position battles to monitor include cornerback, receiver, two spots along the offensive line and the “Hog” (nickel) position.
