Pittman looks to sign "best" players

FAYETTEVILLE — New Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman held his first-ever national signing day on Wednesday and although he signed an SEC-low seven players, he walked away with a big smile on his face.

He’ll likely add an eighth on Thursday when Memphis Central wide receiver-safety Darin Turner (6-4, 215) signs his national letter-of-intent.

Pittman will look to finish out a 2020 class of 25 on Feb. 5, the national signing day.

“I want to get the best players in America because as y’all know, I truly believe that Arkansas is the best place in America,” Pittman said.
