TEXARKANA, Texas — When Arkansas recently offered junior defensive lineman Torey Phillips, he became his school’s third defensive lineman to hold a Division I offer.
After the Razorbacks offered Phillips on Sept. 11, he joined highly recruited junior defensive ends Landon Jackson and Marcus Burris as prospects with D-I offers.
“I love it. It’s a blessing come true,” said Phillips of the Arkansas offer. “As soon as they told me, I was in the cafeteria eating lunch and I just started crying and called my mom. My mom loves Arkansas. She was so happy. She couldn’t wait to tell the family.
