Petrino’s Daughter Puts Lighter Fluid on Position That Referees Hold Vendetta vs Arkansas

Basketball season can’t come soon enough in Fayetteville. Football is dead in the water.

The Razorbacks lost their seventh straight game Saturday night, 38-35, to previously fellow cellar-dweller Mississippi State. Both teams entered winless in Southeastern Conference play and, for the most part, looked like they deserved such distinction. But it was Arkansas that proved its stronger ineptitude in giving up 17 fourth-quarter points in squandering a 14-point lead with less than 14 minutes left in the game.

The lack of discipline in that regard is nothing new. The Razorbacks have lost five one-possession games this season alone and are 3-18 in such contests since the 2022 season.
