There are likely many other things that Florida head coach Kevin O’Sullivan would rather have been doing than talking about Arkansas’ 3-2 walk off win Friday night with fireworks going off at Baum-Walker Stadium.
But that’s what O’Sullivan did graciously after the No. 1 Razorbacks (41-10, 21-8) clinched the outright SEC title with the victory over the No. 8 Gators (35-18, 17-12).
“First of all, congratulations to Arkansas,” O’Sullivan said. “It is not an easy thing to do. We know how tough it is...again congratulations to them.”
The Gators led 3-0 early, but Christian Franklin’s home run and Jalen Battles’ sacrifice fly in the second got the Razorbacks back within a run.
