FAYETTEVILLE — There is plenty of blame to go around for Arkansas’ embarrassing loss at Memphis on Saturday.
Head coach Sam Pittman didn’t beat around the bush when discussing the Razorbacks’ multitude of issues Monday, either.
Tackling was atrocious, at best, against the Tigers. Pro Football Focus credited Arkansas defenders with a season-high 12 missed tackles and even that number feels low.
Effort was lacking at times by Pittman’s own admission, as he didn’t believe the defense ran to the ball as well as it could. Then there were the back-breaking turnovers by the offense, with Taylen Green throwing a pair of interceptions before Mike Washington’s critical red zone fumble.
