'Nothing like we want it to be': Arkansas soccer 'outworked' in win over Georgia Southern

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas soccer coach Colby Hale was disppoined with his Razorbacks’ effort in their 2-0 win over Georgia Southern at Razorback Field on Sunday.

The game was originally scheduled to be an Arkansas road game in Statesboro, Ga., but was moved to Fayetteville because of weather concerns.

The Eagles’ flight landed at 10:41 a.m., pushing kickoff back from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Erin Bailey’s 41-second opener and Camila Palacios’ insurance strike in the 40th minute were the Razorbacks' only goals.

Eagles (1-2-0) goalkeeper Katie Oakley made 9 saves, including good stops against Aniyah Nurse-Whyte from distance and a parried effort from Palacios in the second half.
