As Ryan Silverfield’s second week on the job comes to a close, the Arkansas football coaching staff is nearing its completion.
The Razorbacks have reportedly zeroed in on three coordinators, three secondary coaches, two offensive line specialists, a running backs coach, a wide receivers guru and a partridge in a pear tree.
One of the more intriguing names in that crop is new tailbacks coach David Johnson. While the program has yet to officially confirm his hiring, he changed his Twitter profile picture to an image of Arkansas’ practice facility.
Johnson has been Florida State’s running backs coach and recruiting coordinator ever since Mike Norvell took over as head coach in 2020.
