It has been only two months since it officially went into effect, but the historic House settlement’s effect on college sports is already being felt by the Arkansas baseball program.
While much of the brouhaha has centered on the legalization of direct payments from schools to players through revenue sharing, the other changes have had a greater impact on the diamond than big-money sports like football and men’s basketball.
Not all of them have been positive.
In fact, Dave Van Horn didn’t try to hide his feelings when details of those changes first emerged last summer.
