Tonight, the streaking Wolfpack will try to upset the No. 1 seed Arkansas baseball team in Fayetteville. No. 16 North Carolina State (33-17, 19-14) takes on Arkansas (49-11, 22-8) in the Fayetteville Super Regional this weekend with a trip to the College World Series on the line.
At first glance, it seems like Arkansas baseball should be heavy favorites.
Consider, for instance, that No. 16 NC State has only played one of the current top-15 ranked teams. They lost two of three to No. 6 Notre Dame back in mid-April.
The Hogs are 16-2 against the top-15 and 20-4 against the current top 25, while NC State is 3-3 overall against the top-25.
