ALLEN, Texas — Davon Mitchell, the nation’s top sophomore tight end, continues to have an outstanding relationship with Arkansas tight ends coach Dowell Loggains.
“We talk weekly, so everything is going good,” Mitchell said. “We have a pretty good relationship. I really like Arkansas. We talk about if I was to go there how he would use me.”
Mitchell, 6-4, 230 pounds, of Allen, Texas, has scholarship offers from schools such as Arkansas, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Florida State, Missouri and Colorado.
Arkansas would love to see him be a Razorback.
“They say they want me,” Mitchell said.
