FAYETTEVILLE — Moses Moody received another weekly award from the SEC on Monday.
The Razorbacks’ star guard was named SEC co-freshman of week for his play in Arkansas’ wins over South Carolina and Texas A&M. He shares the honor with LSU freshman guard Cam Thomas, who averaged 26 points and 6.5 rebounds in the Tigers’ wins over Vanderbilt and Missouri.
One week after shooting 6 of 26 against Alabama and LSU, Moody bounced back by scoring 28 points in back-to-back games and hitting 19 of 30 shots against the Gamecocks and Aggies. He also knocked down 9 of 17 three-point attempts, including a season-high five on Saturday.
