JOHNSON — Garrett Endicott’s game plan has been the same for the first 54 holes of the Southern Amateur, and it’s a strategy that has proven to be successful.
The Mississippi State golfer has stayed with a low-risk, high-reward plan and he will carry a 2-shot lead into Saturday’s final round at The Blessings Golf Course at 8-under over the first 54 holes of the tournament.
“Yeah, the game plan that I had coming into this has helped me to get to where I am,” Endicott said following Friday’s 1-over 73 to bump his three-day score to 208.
