Memphis fans stormed the field after the Tigers stormed back to beat the Arkansas football team Saturday.
The Tigers rallied from 18 points down before halftime and won 32-31 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium with a wild sequence of events in the final minutes before a split crowd of 39,861.
Memphis (4-0) strengthened its case to become a playoff team and extended the nation’s longest win streak with its eighth consecutive victory.
“I’m just so proud of the resilience,” Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield said after the game. “[After] halftime, guys came out and they continued to believe.
