Arkansas came into this weekend feeling good about its chances of landing 4-star Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb wide receiver Sam Mbake (6-3, 195).
It would seem nothing changed after his official visit to Fayetteville.
Instead of waiting to announce his college choice at the U.S. Army All-American game in San Antonio on Jan. 8, Mbake now plans to announce his decision on the opening day of the Dec. 15-17 early signing period.
"I'm going to sign, commit on the early signing day,” Mbake said.
Mbake has offers from Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Penn State, Michigan State, USC, Miami, Arizona State, Colorado and other programs.
