With the holidays right around the corner, you’ll probably be hearing that cliche on the Hallmark channel quite a bit this month.
It’s also the message Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek conveyed after firing head football coach Sam Pittman in late September.
“Coach Pittman did not have the resources he needed to appropriately compete in this conference right now,” Yurachek admitted after the coaching change, just a few weeks removed from his incendiary Little Rock Touchdown Club comments about Arkansas not being in a position to compete for championships on the gridiron.
