FAYETTEVILLE — Kansas State hired former Arkansas co-defensive coordinator Marcus Woodson to the same position Monday.
Woodson, who will also serve as the Wildcats' defensive backs coach, will be joining the first Kansas State staff under head coach Collin Klein. Klein was the offensive coordinator at Texas A&M for two seasons and was hired by the Wildcats on Dec. 4 following Chris Klieman’s retirement after seven seasons.
"Marcus is a great addition to our defensive staff," Klein said in a Kansas State press release. "He is of high character, hard working and a winner. I am excited for him to help lead our defense and develop our secondary.
