When Arkansas football faced Notre Dame in September, the Hogs laid on their backs and didn’t put up a fight as the Fighting Irish ripped them apart.
In the first two games under interim coach Bobby Petrino’s leadership against Tennessee and Texas A&M, the Hogs scrapped and clawed until the final whistle but just couldn’t quite keep up.
Against Auburn on Saturday, however, the Hogs did the Tigers a favor by sticking the knife in their own gut.
Taking a 24-16 lead into the fourth quarter, the Razorbacks entered self-destruct mode. Arkansas turned the ball over on each of its final four possessions, with a fumble by O’Mega Blake mixed in with three interceptions from Taylen Green.
