Losing the Locker Room Is Child’s Play to What’s Really at Stake for Arkansas in November

The bottom truly fell out for Arkansas football in Saturday’s loss to Mississippi State.

The Hogs blew a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter, committing a school record 18 penalties for 193 yards. It was the second consecutive week the Razorbacks lost at home to a winless SEC team, and after Kentucky’s win over Auburn that got Hugh Freeze canned, Arkansas is the only team in the conference yet to win an SEC game.

Making matters worse, quarterback Taylen Green went down injured on the Hogs’ final offensive play of the game. His status moving forward remains unclear, though Arkansas has the fortune of a bye week before its road trip to LSU.
