FAYETTEVILLE — Dave Van Horn is finally biting the bullet with one of his top pitchers in Game 2 of the Arkansas vs Tennessee series.
Right-hander Aiden Jimenez will be making his first start of the season when he toes the rubber for Friday’s 6:30 p.m. CT first pitch at Baum-Walker Stadium. The No. 8 Razorbacks are trying to bounce back and even the series with the No. 17 Volunteers after dropping the opener 10-7.
With Arkansas wanting to keep usual Game 2 starter Gage Wood on normal rest, the right-hander is starting Saturday’s finale and Friday’s game was left as a TBA.
