The Major League Baseball Draft begins Sunday at 5 p.m Central, and Rounds 1-3 will be completed on Day 1 from the Atlanta area.

Arkansas is could have multiple first-round picks for the first time in program history. Shortstop Wehiwa Aloy and right-handed pitcher Gage Wood both have Round 1 grades from the major baseball publications.

Other Razorbacks seem likely to be taken on Day 1, most notably outfielder Charles Davalan and left-hander Zach Root. All of Arkansas' high school signees and several Division I transfer commitments are also eligible.

It should be a busy couple of days for the Razorbacks, whose single-year record for drafted players is 11 in 2013 and 2018 when the draft was 40 rounds.
