Last night's weather delay has created what is arguably the pitching matchup of the year so far in the SEC between Arkansas junior right hander Isaiah Campbell and Auburn sophomore right hander Tanner Burns.
Burns, who was a Freshman All-American last season, was being held until today so that he would stay on a seven-day rest schedule between starts. Campbell was scheduled to start last night's game.
Campbell is 6-0 this season with a 2.03 ERA and has been dominant in his three SEC starts. Burns is 4-0 with a 1.40 ERA. Both are high strikeout, low walk pitchers.
