After a pair of convincing exhibition victories — 89-61 over Cincinnati on Oct. 24 and 99-75 at Memphis on Oct. 27 — it’s time for the Arkansas basketball season to officially get underway.
The Razorbacks are set to host Southern in the regular-season opener, marking the formal start of Year 2 under coach John Calipari. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network.
Southern was picked second out of 12 teams in the preseason SWAC poll, which was voted upon by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.
