It is the final weekend of the regular season. Arkansas and Tennessee get underway in their series opener at 7 p.m.
This is a big series for both teams. The Razorbacks can clinch a top 4 seed at the SEC Tournament and for all intents and purposes a top 8 seed for the NCAA Tournament with a good showing this weekend. Arkansas also is in the running for an SEC championship.
Tennessee needs a good weekend to help its case to host a regional when the NCAA Tournament begins.
Arkansas will throw its ace, left-hander Zach Root, tonight.
