FAYETTEVILLE — The No. 10 Arkansas soccer team entered the final 15 minutes of its match against No. 17 Vanderbilt trailing 1-0.
The Razorbacks had preached about finishing strong and persisting in difficult moments. The Commodores controlled large segments of the second half but did not find insurance.
Arkansas took advantage of that.
In their 2-1 win over Vanderbilt on Thursday at Razorback Field, Arkansas scored twice in the final 12 minutes to complete its comeback effort. The Razorbacks have not lost a home SEC match since 2020.
The match was delayed by 90 minutes due to thunderstorms in the area.
