FAYETTEVILLE — Kendall Diggs had another game-ending hit Saturday at Baum-Walker Stadium.
The Arkansas senior outfielder hit a 2-run home run with 2 outs in the seventh inning to end the Razorbacks’ fourth consecutive run-rule victory by a score of 10-0 over Portland on a cold, overcast day.
The third-ranked Razorbacks (14-1) won their 10th consecutive game and improved to 12-0 at home. They won their seventh home game by run rule.
It was Diggs’ sixth career game-ending hit and fifth game-ending home run. He had had game-winning home runs in the ninth inning to beat Ole Miss 6-3 in 2022 and in the 11th inning to beat Texas A&M 6-5 at the 2023 SEC Tournament, plus homers that initiated run rules against Eastern Illinois in 2023 and McNeese State last year.
