FAYETTEVILLE — Kendal Briles has been named offensive coordinator at the University of Arkansas.
Coach Sam Pittman said on National Signing Day last Wednesday he hoped to have a hire completed by the first couple of days this week, and also that some of the final members of his first staff might come on board after the bowl season.
Briles, who served as offensive coordinator at Florida State last season, would be in a different job for the fifth consecutive year after spending 2018 at the University of Houston, 2017 at Florida Atlantic and 2016 in his ninth and final year at Baylor.
