FAYETTEVILLE — When the Arkansas women’s basketball team has struggled this season, an inability to finish shots around the rim has been a big factor.
During a closer-than-expected 68-60 win over Southeastern Louisiana last week, the Razorbacks missed 18 layups. In their first loss of the year, 80-68 at Texas Tech on Sunday, they missed 13.
Arkansas coach Kelsi Musick wants to see her team convert on those opportunities more Thursday when it hosts Little Rock at 6:30 p.m.
“It’s physical, so when they actually get to the rim and it's open, I think they're a little bit shocked that we were able to get that wide open,” Musick said Tuesday.
