SPRINGDALE — While many of Springdale Har-Ber’s current football players weren’t around to see their new wide receivers coach’s signature college play, it is readily available for them to view on YouTube and other internet sites.
It’s an essential piece of Razorback football lore. Perhaps the most electrifying punt return in college football history happened on Nov. 11, 2011, when Arkansas wide receiver Joe Adams fielded a punt at the 40-yard line inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
The return initially had all the makings of a negative play, as Adams did a lot of running backwards and sideways before he found some headway.
