Growing up, Jordan Anthony never saw a future for himself in track and field.
A football receiver with Division I offers and dreams of winning the Heisman Trophy, Anthony hoped offseason work with track coaches could help him become a better runner on the gridiron.
“A lot of football players don’t have good running form,” Anthony said earlier this week. “I really just did it for giggles and networking, because you meet a lot of new people in track and field.”
But as a dual-sport athlete at Kentucky and Arkansas, Anthony fell in love with sprinting.
